Announcing the Winners of Coliving Awards 2021

Coliving Awards ceremony took place on the 6th of May, 2021, to close the Co-Liv Summit. It is the first-ever ceremony dedicated to highlighting key innovators, actors and ideas that are shaping the coliving industry.

More than a year ago, the co-founders of Coliving Ventures, came together and spotted the need in the industry to acknowledge all the factors contributing to the growth of this sector. Coliving Awards was fully curated by Coliving Ventures to give visibility to the innovators of the coliving community and their achievements.

Aimed to become a platform for discovery, acknowledgment and celebration, Coliving Awards received over 100 applications from countries all around the globe. For its very first edition, Coliving businesses from all over the world have participated to share their achievements.  The Coliving Awards has not only been an opportunity to acknowledge the proud achievements of these organisations, but has allowed participants to dive deep into what makes them relevant for the growth and development of the coliving industry, while better defining these aspects. 

During the Coliving Awards ceremony, hosted by our three Co-Founders, Aitana de Jong, Bart Sasim and Matt Lesniak, and our Event Production Associate Karolina Sawicka, the winners of each of the 11 categories were finally revealed.

Though it is a competition, and we have witnessed the win of amazing projects - what truly has made a difference is the involvement of the whole coliving community and participants sharing their best practices while reflecting on their concepts, companies and products. On behalf of the coliving industry, Coliving Awards officially congratulates all the winning projects, companies and individuals who have proved their efforts to push the boundaries of coliving and make this sector flourish, grow and reach greater heights.

Another initiative of Coliving Ventures and main Media Partner of Coliving Awards, Coliving Insights will publish a Special Edition at the end of May to celebrate the winners and other contributors of the first edition of the Coliving Awards. Coliving Insights is an innovative Research Lab and Media Platform providing cutting-edge knowledge and giving key players a voice in the ever-growing coliving industry. 

This exclusive publication will feature the state-of-the-art projects of the Coliving Awards’ winners and nominees, as well as showcasing our lead judges, jury panels, and all of the partners and sponsors who contributed. This special edition is the opportunity to dive deep into the winning projects and the reason behind their success. 

Coliving Awards was created to cultivate the growth and consolidation of the coliving phenomenon, a specialist asset class that is truly reshaping the future of living, and its main aims are to showcase the industry’s best projects, spread the best practices, provide valuable information to the coliving community and inspire the next generation of real estate market players.
