Property Technology (PropTech) has the potential to accelerate the growth of coliving, increase profitability, enhance community & user experience, and support innovative shared living concepts. The industry has already started adopting the tools that will define how we manage, support and scale community-based businesses like coliving. This category will recognize those who are developing software, digital products, and other property technology innovations that are driving the sector towards greater operational efficiency, sustainability, profitability, and interactivity by leveraging the wide array of technologies available to us today.

Application Criteria

For whom?

Property Technology (PropTech) service and product providers offering solutions such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Channel Management, Internet Booking Engine, Community Experience Management, Access Control, Roommate Matching, Dedicated Apps, and others.

Criteria

  1. Proven Track Record: PropTech providers must provide evidence of real-world examples, through case studies or success stories, demonstrating how their solutions have successfully helped coliving businesses and end-customers achieve their goals or solve specific problems.
  2. Relevant and addressing diverse stakeholder needs: Your solution meets the needs of shared living operators as well as end-users (residents), property owners, and other stakeholders.
  3. Enhancement of operational efficiency: Highlight improvements in process optimisation, automation, or any other areas where your solution delivers tangible operational benefits.
  4. Integrability with other systems and is scalable: Show how your solution adapts to evolving needs, integrates with other relevant products/systems, and scales effectively within the ecosystem.
  5. Driving innovation and long-term impact across sectors: Demonstrate how your solution drives innovation, contributes to long-term impact, and advances the coliving and real estate sectors as a whole.

Deliverables

Below we have summarised the deliverables for your application. Please also make sure to download the application guide and presentation template by following the buttons below to make sure you read all necessary information to have a successful Coliving Awards entry. Note that every category has its own application guide!

1. Presentation including:

  • Name
  • Organisation
  • Logo (if applicable)
  • Details about specific project / site / product in English
  • Responses to questions in the application guide and additional resources requested in the eligibility and evaluation criteria, such as qualitative and quantitative data, case studies and testimonials
  • Presentation should be max 20 slides / pages and in PDF format (16:9 horizontal format). Please see the presentation template below for reference

2. High level summary of your project submission in the Application portal and answer to all application questions.

3. Supporting images / renders (in high resolution JPG / PNG -> 150 dpi) in ZIP format** (max 10 images). Files to be named in the following format " organisation-projectname-image# “

4. Representative project image (max 10 MB) to be used as a thumbnail in the application portal and other relevant communication from Coliving Awards about your project

5. It should be clear that your project meets the criteria for this category
