Customers – in this case colivers – and stakeholders want to follow bold initiatives and authentic leadership; as such, branding has hardly ever been as important as it is now. The right branding and marketing strategies can help position coliving companies as vanguards at the frontier of an evolving real estate industry. This category will celebrate the brand agencies, marketers and coliving operators who dared to challenge traditional residential living models to create authentic and timeless shared living brands.

Creative agencies, digital and marketing agencies, branding agencies, in-house marketing and branding teams, designers, content creators, and brand strategists who are shaping the future of coliving through innovative, authentic, and community-driven branding.

Criteria

  1. Brand recognition and reach: Your brand demonstrates strong identity, awareness, and engagement across multiple touchpoints, supported by an effective brand strategy and outreach efforts.
  2. Values-driven: Branding and marketing efforts actively integrate audience insights and feedback, ensuring alignment with the brand’s mission, values, and long-term vision. Strategies should reflect a commitment to sustainability, social impact, and the evolving needs of shared living communities.
  3. Strong brand identity: A clear, engaging, and cohesive identity, including logos, visual assets, and messaging, effectively conveys the brand’s purpose.
  4. Engagement: Branding and marketing activities foster both online and offline interaction, encouraging sustainability, wellbeing, and a community-oriented mindset.
  5. Innovative and timeless approach to branding and communications: Uses creative and forward-thinking branding strategies, leveraging new technologies and media while ensuring accessibility across multiple platforms.

Deliverables

Below we have summarised the deliverables for your application. Please also make sure to download the application guide and presentation template by following the buttons below to make sure you read all necessary information to have a successful Coliving Awards entry. Note that every category has its own application guide!

1. Presentation including:

  • Name
  • Organisation
  • Logo (if applicable)
  • Details about specific project / site / product in English
  • Responses to questions in the application guide and additional resources requested in the eligibility and evaluation criteria, such as brand assets, audience and engagement metrics and other qualitative and quantitative data
  • Presentation should be max 20 slides / pages and in PDF format (16:9 horizontal format). Please see the presentation template below for reference

2. High level summary of your project submission in the Application portal and answer to all application questions.

3. Supporting images / renders (in high resolution JPG / PNG -> 150 dpi) in ZIP format** (max 10 images). Files to be named in the following format " organisation-projectname-image# “

4. Representative project image (max 10 MB) to be used as a thumbnail in the application portal and other relevant communication from Coliving Awards about your project

5. It should be clear that your project meets the criteria for this category
